Ngamba Island location and how to get there.
Ngamba Island is located on Lake Victoria as part of the Koome group of islands. The island is an estimated 23km in the southeast of Entebbe.
To get to Ngamba Island, the most common means of transportation is water since it is and island. One could therefore use a speedboat from the dock in Entebbe (takes between 40-55 minutes) or a motorized canoe (takes around 90 minutes). Alternatively, there is also the use of air from Entebbe Airport or Kajjansi Air strip and this takes an estimated 20 minutes. Other options include chartered boats and helicopters.
